"This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it." Psalm 118:24 NKJV
Greetings in the name of the Lord!
Greetings in the name of the Lord!
This is the day that the Lord
has made and I will rejoice and be glad in it! This has always been one
of my favorite versus and I used to be in the habit of using it daily. I
have since stumbled, fallen, gotten back up, stumbled, fell, and got back up
several times since then. I am not making the effort to use it daily.
I will start blogging my
journey into prayer. I have always struggled with prayer. Not that
I did not pray, it has always felt my prayers were ineffective. I have
read many articles, studied the Bible, asked friends, and watch movies in the
hopes of improving my prayers. Finally, after years of struggle I feel
through the Lord, I am finally making some real progress in prayer.
What I would like to do is document
this journey as I continue to study and learn more about prayer in this blog.
I still have other topics that I would like to address, but I find it
more than coincidental that I started a blog around the same time I have had a
prayer break through. I think the two are meant to go hand in hand.
I am inviting you on this journey with me. Not to
boast of my studies or knowledge, but to share with you what the Lord is
sharing with me. To improve your prayer life as I endeavor to improve
mine. As James mentions in his letter "The effective, fervent prayer
of a righteous man avails much." (James 5:16b NKJV).
